Donor Recognition

At Anderson, it is important to us to recognize our generous donors. We understand that you have made choices – and sacrifices – to share with others. There are many ways we work to recognize your gifts to Anderson University:

Named Endowed Scholarships

The minimum level to establish a named endowed scholarship is currently $25,000. This can be established with an initial gift or through a commitment of intent to make a gift (payable over a period of time). Often, endowed scholarships are created through one’s will or other planned gifts.

Annual Gift Club Levels

Donors are recognized for contributions received during the university’s fiscal year, June 1 – May 31, at the following gift levels:

  • Loyalty Club – Up to $99
  • Oak Society – $100 – $499
  • Denmark Circle – $500 – $999
  • President’s Club – $1,000 – $2,499
  • Scholars Circle – $2,500 – $4,999
  • Columns Society – $5,000 – $9,999
  • Merritt Associates – $10,000 – $24,999
  • Johnson Circle – $25,000 – $49,999
  • Majestic Oaks Society – $50,000 – $99,999
  • Founders Circle – $100,000 or more

Founders Society

Individual donors are recognized for cumulative giving to Anderson University that exceeds $100,000—the amount of money originally raised to help in the school’s founding in 1911. Honorees are invited to special events on the campus each year.

The Legacy Society

Including a gift to Anderson in any portion of your estate planning—through your will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or another method—qualifies for membership in the Legacy Society. If you have made provisions of this type for Anderson, please notify the Development Office. Periodic events are planned to honor those who are providing these future legacy commitments.

Naming Opportunities with Capital Projects

Development of our Athletic Campus – There are multiple naming recognition areas with our intercollegiate athletic venues being developed on our athletic campus (the old Anderson County Fairgrounds). Please contact our Development Office to find out more about our proposed new athletic facilities.
